What was that like, getting the CI at 4. I don't want to hope too much, but I am hoping. Our son has some hearing so he may get turned down for candidacy. Again, we're hoping.
Did your daughter have any hearing, speech, signs...?
My son will be 4 when he gets it, if he gets it...

Hi Melinda, welcome to the site! I also have a 12-year old (soon to be 13 in a few weeks). Middle school can be rough at times!

I have a 12 year old daughter who is deaf, has a Cochlear implant and attends a mainstream middle school. I would love to meet other parents and would love for my daughter to make some new friends with other children like herself.
