My now 4 year old has bilateral mild to moderately severe hearing loss. He was diagnosed when he was born. He has had hearing aids since he was 5 months old. Our family does not have any history of hearing loss that we know of. It has been a learning experience but we have been very fortunate for the programs and people (helpers) we have had access to along the way.
